As much as I love my Thinkpad X31, it's nearly 5 years old and it's getting slow for my needs. My laptop goes to and from campus every day in my backpack, either on the bus or on my bike. Anything over 14.1' is absolutely out of the question, and even 13.3' is pushing the limit. I don't play any games, but I do some research involving OpenGL applications, so better graphics is a plus.

Lenovo X200 Tablet Drivers
Lenovo X200 - 2.2GHz - 1280x800 12' screen - 3 GB ram - 160 GB 7200rpm - Intel X4500HD - Bluetooth - 6 cell battery - 3 year Thinkpad Protection total: ~1300 MacBook - 2 GHz - 1280x800 13.3' screen - 2 GB ram - 160 GB 5400rpm - NVidia 9400GM - DVI dongle - AppleCare total: ~1400 I want to get the Thinkpad because I've had 4 Thinkpads (2 560x's, X40, and X31), and they've all been very well built. Reviews indicate the X200 is just as well built. I love my trackpoint so much that I got the full size USB keyboard with a trackpoint. Thinkpad Protection covers more than AppleCare, and my laptop travels quite a bit. The Thinkpad is also smaller and lighter than the MacBook.

Only main attraction on this is the tablet screen, but there is some kind of problem with Lenovo's driver; I cannot get pressure sensitive pen to work on any of my graphics apps even after searching various forums to find many others with same problems.
